Most plush toys do one thing. This giraffe does six — and the one that gets the biggest laugh is the voice recorder.

Press and hold a paw and say anything: their name, a joke, a burst of giggles. Let go and he repeats it back in a funny, silly voice. Kids work it out in seconds, then spend the afternoon trying to make him say something sillier.

The rest is play. The other paw plays music and switches between several songs, a touch on his head wakes him up, and his eyes blink along. Bring the bottle on the cord around his neck to his mouth and he drinks. Leave him alone for 30 seconds and he drifts off to sleep with a soft snore. He is a caramel-spotted giraffe with a cream muzzle and soft paw pads, built to sit upright on a bed or a shelf rather than slump into the toy box.

This interactive stuffed giraffe has been a fantastic addition to our routine. The combination of voice recording, music playback, blinking eyes, touch responses, and the feeding simulation with the included bottle makes it feel like a real companion during play. Not only was the giraffe cute, but it's also lots of fun for the little ones to play with. You can play music, record a message on it, feed it, and makes its eyes blink. Lots of fun to hug. A great gift for a little one. Enters sleep mode to converse battery life. Reasonably priced and has held up well to a lot of hugs and playtime.

Is the Lovey "toddler tough?"

Before releasing each Lovey range, we tested them with numerous, let's call them... adventurous boys and girls. Not only did they stand up to regular tantrums, food messes and heavy-duty outdoor play, once they were washed they returned to the beautiful "as new" lovey time after time.

How loud is the music box?

We have designed the low volume to ensure it does not damage baby's hearing when snuggled right up to it.
The second, slightly louder level is for public places or noisy stroller trips so that baby can still hear their favourite noise on the go. This ensures they get the same level of comfort anywhere, anytime. 

How big and heavy is the Lovey?

When laid flat the blanket portion is 15 inches by 15 inches. 
Each weigh approximately half a pound or 300-400grms.

How does the music box operate?

The music box sits inside the padded head of each animal Lovey. The buttons slot nicely into each ear and can be pressed to operate either Brahms lullaby or white noise. The Lovey comes with a diagram and instructions on how to start / stop and chose the level and length of each noise.

What size batteries does the Lovey take?

The Lovey takes 2 AAA batteries. The battery case is sealed by a small screw to ensure that children cannot access. Most common brands of batteries will last months even with very regular use.
